Missiles Reach Dimona and Arad: What Happened and How People Reacted

On March 21, 2026 Iran fired missiles that hit the Israeli towns of Dimona and Arad. The attacks damaged buildings and injured dozens of people near the Negev desert.

Dimona is close to Israel’s main nuclear research center. Israeli air defenses were not able to intercept the missiles, and rescue teams treated wounded people, including children. Many residents were frightened and some left their homes for a time.
